Maverick is a vented, very light, comfortable hat of Bangora straw.  It's durable enough for work or play and is firmly lacquered to help it shed water. It isn't waterproof, but it is water resistant and you could wear it for a short time in the rain without damage.

If it feels a little big, just tighten it with the sizing tape we ship in the box with your hat.
